Company Director Taryn Davis has a passion for the environment and reforesting the wheatbelt. Sandalwood plantations provide this opportunity, while giving a nut crop that is nutritious and delicious.
For generations, the family farm in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt focused on wheat and grains—deciding to replant sandalwood on the farm in wind eroded and low yield paddocks. Thriving under the Australian sun, these remarkable trees and their biodiverse plantations have brought back natural biodiversity to the farm. The nuts have become a standout feature of the plantations for their rich flavor and impressive nutritional benefits. What started as a small shift in focus quickly became a passion, with the sandalwood nut offering a delicious and healthy option that’s perfect as a snack or a gourmet ingredient.
